We're constantly humbled when amazing magazines, both local and national, reach out to give us praise. It's a lot of fun to do the work we do, and hearing we're doing a great job from you is an excellent reward! Here are some of the mentions we've had recently in the press.

October 16, 2008 - Kristin Donnelly of Food & Wine Magazine wrote a wonderful piece about our "passionate commitment to locally raised meat, lesser-known cuts and chef-inspired recipes" and extoled our charcutierie program, saying "might be one of the best in the country."

October 7, 2008 - Called one of the "young catalysts" of the Richmond area, Style Weekly awarded Tanya Cauthen a Top Forty Under 40 nod.

March 7, 2008 - The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts cheers about the way Belmont Butchery combines "passion for an age-old craft and quality products" while awarding Tanya Cauthen and her extraordinary staff with a 2008 Muse Award for creativity in business.

January 8, 2008 - Saveur included Belmont Butchery as part of the food magazine's 100 favorite things for 2008.

June 16, 2007 - Food & Wine Magazine visit Richmond, and find Belmont Butchery and owner Tanya Cauthen worth lauding.

June 15, 2007 - Richmond.com's food writer Karri Peifer applauds the "state-of-the-art European-inspired" Belmont Butchery.
