We were working with Emily long before she met Daniel, but when two farms marry, they get a bigger farm! Daniel and Emily run cattle on Daniel’s family’s home Tuckahoe Plantation in Goochland, as well as farming their own homestead in Cumberland Co. Emily currently runs a flock of North Border Cheviot (she used to have a flock of Katahdin hair sheep – which is how I ended up with my ram, Gus), Gloucestershire Old Spot Pork, Chickens, and fully trained Border Collies. And to make things more complicated I’ve known Daniel since he was 14, when I ran all the catering at Tuckahoe Plantation.
